Eleten Technology
®︎
Eleten® technology is a unique nanotechnology that minimizes side effects while maintaining the effectiveness of the drug.
This technology can be applied in many areas, but currently it is most widely used in the area of sanitary paper.
Below, we will introduce the features of eleten® technology for sanitary paper.

Nanocapsule body for sanitary paper
Feature 1: Drugs broken down into nano-sized particles
Using our unique nanotechnology, we break down drugs into nano sizes.
The medicines can be customized to suit your needs.
Antibacterial ingredients, deodorizing ingredients, fragrance ingredients, etc.
Feature 2: Three-layer nanocapsule
The three layers that encase the medicine are designed and formulated according to the application. When the raw pulp and nanocapsules are mixed during the papermaking process, they are specially processed to prevent the medicine inside from dissolving.
Therefore, it can be changed according to the area of use.

Feature 3: Layer that dissolves instantly when it comes into contact with water
When the three layers mentioned above are exposed to temperatures of over 100°C during the drying process in papermaking, each layer undergoes a chemical reaction and turns into a single layer (the purple layer in the left image).
This layer is charged with positive ions and has the property of instantly dissolving when it comes into contact with water. When using hygiene products, the positive ions of the nanocapsules destroy the cell walls of bacteria, which are charged with negative ions, thereby killing them.
Furthermore, when used with water, the purple layer dissolves and the medicine inside the capsule is instantly released, exerting its original effects.
Feature 4: Nanocapsule coverage in the product is 99%
独自のナノテクノロジーを応用することで、製造過程においてナノカプセルを均一に原料に分散させる。

Feature 5: Equivalent effect with a much smaller amount of drug compared to conventional methods*
Conventional hygiene products with a sterilization effect of 90% or more are manufactured by soaking nonwoven fabric in a solution containing a chemical (concentration 1,000ppm). Generally, 1.7kg of chemical is used for 1 ton of nonwoven fabric. However, by using eleten® technology, the amount of chemical used is about 1/3,500 of the conventional amount, and the same sterilization effect (90% or more*) can be achieved.
*More than 90%*: Chinese national standard GB15979-2002 by SGS Standards and Technology Service Co., Ltd.
